The Ink Cartridge Waste Reduction Programme

The Ink Cartridge Waste Reduction Programme is an on-site service. Our fully transportable, specialised machinery will quickly and efficiently reduce your 2kg plastic ink cartridges to a fraction of their original size.

     

The Process

Firstly, the nib of the cartridge is removed which still contains a residue of ink, then the remainder of the cartridge is separated into four flat pieces called splits.

The nib of the cartridge gets disposed of into a separate cage from the flat splits and means we can get around five times the amount of waste into one cage compared to when they were whole cartridges.

When you’re paying for your waste per cage, this obviously saves you a lot of money and also reduces your carbon footprint.
